Renting in vegas x-posted

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm moving to Vegas end of august/beginning of september and may have a pit bull puppy with me. Let me say that this is not my first pit, and i know how to train them and handle them. I have never had a problem in the past with any of the pits in my life. my apartments dont care on breed as long as it's small. we mostly have beages and chihuahas here, but they enver gave me any stipulations. we had a border collie...

Ooohhh, very bad news my friend, there seems to be a universal dislike for medium & large breed dogs, when it comes to renting.
In fact, there are 3 breeds of dogs that don't even get the "3 bites" rule from the Las Vegas Police Dept.
And yes, Pitbulls are one of them.
That means if your pit has even ONE incident, it gets put down immediately, no fighting it in court, period.
(chows & rotts are the other 2)
Your best bet is to find a private HOUSE owner, that is willing to accept your pet, that will rent it out to you.
And then you can expect to pay UPFRONT; 1st months, last months, and a deposit equal to a months rent before you move in!
I can't offer ANY other advice, it has just been too predictable as to what's going to happen when someone brings a pitbull into a over-crowded apartment complex.
