So I've been here in America for a while and I've decided I would start a blog. Isn't that what everyone is doing these days? The internet is so very ... fun? I've spent most of my time so far getting to know the geography of my new home and I feel like I have a pretty decent handle on it.

Hey Grace! The whole internet thing is rather new to me- and the blogging is a little... well, confusing as well but it's good for making friends, right? Maybe we could meet up sometime! I'd love to hang out and do something, maybe we could even head out to the beach and swim.

hello Lucy, it's quite nice to meet someone on this rather large internet. And yes it does seem like it would be useful to meet new people. The beach sounds lovely. I haven't been to the beach here yet but it would be quite nice to do so with someone else and not alone.

Definately! I know all the best spots- I actually live in Ocean View too, so if you ever wanted to come over we can just head on down to the beach!
