Seriously though, i was just going through my old entries today and i totally welled up. Are people still using Livejournal? Are my neglected buddies still around for encouragement and great advice? I want a time machine to take me back to 2007.

It's true, I owe alot to the community here, i was exposed to so many cool artists and people in general. Made great worthwhile connections. It's such a shame to see it like this. I've resorted to starting a new tumblr but its not the same. Are you on tumblr?

awwww! i check ocasionally as well. it seems like a lot of people have migrated to tumblr. like...tumblr is the NEW lj? i remember a few years ago when i thought about getting a blogspot/blogger page but it seemed kinda pointless 'cause i was posting to lj pretty regularly. i'll make lj posts as long as flickr allows me to click that lj button.

I agree, i set up a blogger too a while back but what it offers is exactly like LJ so i stopped using it aswell.
Fortunately LJ still serves well as a stand alone blog, but its the community aspect that made it special. AND YOU GUYS! ;___;

i still come here regularly too.. i couldn't help but react to this.. but i actually feel the same way... I could never get use to tumblr.. or twitter..

I'm glad you did! They're definitely not the same. I still havent found a real good use for twitter, although it helps direct people to my flickr. Tumblr? Well i had an old account but i just polluted it with reblogged images of girls with tattoos.
