H.G. Wells' The Time Machine. What a great book.The point of the story is that one day we will let technology rule us over, and eventually we will be stupid. Why will we be stupid? Because we will let technology do all the work for us. It never really bothered me until recently, and by recently I mean the past few years. Every day I see people say
