I think the 2012 time frame is very much a worst case, but certainly all the other things mentioned I've previously read about and I thought it was a nice video bringing together the issues.
I did find the focus on Japan at CITES annoying- lots of other countries were against listing of Bluefin Tuna for their own vested interested as well (eg Australia, Canada), the EU wanted a delay to its introdution and it was Iceland that called for a secret ballot :/
