I think one of the many results of this recession will be hefty amounts of personal revinvention. Scary? Yeah, absolutely. But it could be good in the long run.

I saw a sign today for a wine auction coming up in about a week at the old Pier 1 Imports outlet store over by the bakery. Not sure how expensive it may be for any of the bottles, or whether or not you need any more wine, but looked like it might be interesting.

Sorry for the work stuff, though. I think you could absolutely do a lot of different things and would be resilient, as that is just how you are. But I cross my fingers that the need does not arise and that people can start throwing parties again soon.

Work-wise, there's also the scariness of the possible need to start from scratch after working at something for a decade. But whatever happens, I'll figure it out! (I hope.)
