Today's day-long (but not as long as yesterday) scuba class went pretty well. We had our last classwork and took our written final (I got a 94%, not bad), then spent the rest of the time in the pool. I'm happy to report that I finally got the neutrally buoyant thing a couple of times, so let's hope that I can repeat that in the ocean next weekend.

Sounds like things are going great in your class. I'm really glad that everything seems to be working out.
I totally understand the breathing too fast thing. Bob was telling me that one of the guys he works with on the search and rescue team takes like 4 breathes a minute when he is under water.
You want to try some meditation (if you're into that sort of thing) to help with the breathing slower and more relaxed.
