The Trouble with Dreams is Everything.

Obligatory "the week in review" update. I'll keep it short, sweet, and I promise pictures.

Massachusettes was what it always is, I love my grandparents too much to really describe, they are beautiful and smart people. There was a lot of talk this past weekend about plans being made for- you know, down the road, and who will get the paintings, and who will get the house. I am hoping, of course, for a good outcome but i do not like to speak of such things. We shall see. The paintings, (5-600 of them,) will eventually be my mother's, and then she has spoken of turning them over to me under the condition that i open a gallery when i graduate. obviously, being the art history major that i am, i yearn for this chance to turn my useless major into something tangible. we shall see what we shall see. no money will come of it but i guess thats not my job to worry about it. so i dont.

I started my creative writing thesis application, or whatever it's termed. By this time next year, hopefully, I will be approved to finish it as a major. should be done by the end of the summer. knock on lots of wood. working title? 'The trouble with dreaming in black and white.' i think i need about 30 pages. wow joanna. art history and books. way to be wasting time. in a good way?

so i went back to baskin robbins today. i cant tell yet if i regret it, but the extra money cant hurt and it was pretty worth it to hear the 70 year old manager refer to one mr. lloyd cargo as "my old boyfriend lloyd." im working saturday night and sunday afternoon if you want ice cream, or just love, whatever.

yesterday i laughed so hard. i did again tonight. i mean, really hard. like you wouldnt believe. it felt so good.

this is my favorite place in the world...

we saw a rainbow
