Even if it's just hey, I read this and it was awesome/awful/life-changing/ ( Read more... )

Reading through my book notes from earlier this year is nifty. This past year has felt so much more interesting and involved and memorable because of all the reading I've been doing, and having the chance to look back on that at my leisure is wonderful.

That's it, too. Too often my posts are trivial, or whiny. Be nice to look back at something that indicates that in fact I do other things besides work and whine. ;) Plus, anything to keep writing.

Me, too. And then sometimes I start a book and get a few chapters in and realize...hey, this is familiar....

I've been reading a lot of books online through the Cinicinnati library system. It's nice, but I need to actually read physical books more I think. I don't know that I could manage to write notes about the books I read though! I am not that reliable =)

I'm not either. I've finished a couple more since this post, and you've seen how many write-ups I've done. :) Online reading is better than nothing, although I do feel like I don't read things as deeply when they're on a screen. How's Cincinnati otherwise?
