I can't remember if I recommended this book to you when we talked about writing a few months back, but it might be just the thing to get you going: Chapter After Chapter. Her suggestions are practical and the exercises are motivating. One of them, for example, asks you to come up with something like 20-25 books you'd like to write. Pretend someone has offered you a grant to write full time, but only if you can come up with that list. She suggests setting a timer and rattling it off in 10 min, but of course you can take longer if you like. (I put my list together over the course of a day.) You can write a few sentences for each, or just a few words to describe the premise -- whatever makes it distinct for you at this point

Had a burst of inspiration yesterday that I think I'll be able to work with for Nano. I'm excited about it. I'm veijukka on Nano as well, although I might not make it onto the site much. I imagine with moving you might not have a lot of time for writing this month, either.
