Five minutes of doing nothing sounds amazing. If only I could find a place quiet enough to try it.

That's the awesomeness that comes when your kids get older. The trick is learning to not worry about what they're doing when they're not bugging you.

Excellent goals indeed. I'd love to learn a new language. I've been messing around a bit on Duolingo, seeing what Spanish I remember, though I'm not sure how great it would be for learning anything new (and they only have a couple offerings at this point -- no Finnish or Chinese!).

And what's not there.... writing goals? Unless that's tied into #2.

I have a smattering of Spanish and a smattering of French and an even more skimpy smattering of German. I'd like to know another language enough to actually use it.

No writing goals. I feel like I've got to get my brain in order...I'm too distracted. Every time I sit down, it's like picking at something that's locked in rock or ice. The ideas are there, but they're too hard to get to right now. I end up frustrated and feeling guilty. It will come, I have faith...just not right now, apparently.

It sounds like fun. Are you taking it? When does it start?

It was Tuesday mornings at ten, but may have moved. I'm not taking it any more, though if my arms ever get better I'll get back to it.
