POINT REYES!! It's one of my favorite places. I want to return someday and do some backpacking. I'm envious of your whale sighting -- I've never had that experience.

I hope the content writing gig is good and goes well.

I was absolutely thrilled about the whales! We were very surprised to see them - we'd been told not to expect any after April, but there were at least three in the waters around the point, one was a mother and calf pair...amazing!

I always respond to things with terror, too. Maybe it's just a necessary part of the creative process!

This sounds mean, but I'm glad to hear it! ;) Maybe you're right...which kinda sucks. Oh well. Guess I just have to get used to living with the fear.
