Funny Hours for the Funny Farm

It turns out the hours for the job (not listed anywhere I looked, and re-looked) are only 26. While they pay more per hour, my net at the end of the week is below my threshold.

On the other hand, they want me.

Still, I must say no.

Isn't there some other work you could pick up the rest of the time to meet the threshold? seems a pity to let it go...

Not likely. It is in four shifts, on different days. This would mean that I had one day left a week to pick up 14 hours of work.

Not easy.

Or if the possible 8 hour shift on the other day payed incredible well.
