Just finished reading this in depth study about how people can read words that are jumbled up in any order, quickly, so long as the first and last letters are in the correct place.

This study looked into 2 and 3 letter words and how people don't slow down at all in recognising them in sentences.

Don't get it, and I suspect it's the sort of thing you can't explain to me either... darn.

If the first letter and the last letter stay the same, how jumbled can two and three letter words get?

Oh, the 2 and 3 were supposed to be jumbled? I didn't read you saying that at all. I read it as two separate stories related only by being about ways we recognise words. Right, that makes more sense.
