My Weekend...

Waking up late and drinking coffee on the back porch while still in my pajamas. Opening all of the windows in the house and letting the breeze rush in and wrap itself around the room, and in turn, send all of the loose papers into a frenzied swirl. Rediscovering old CDs that remind me of good friends. Walking barefoot in the grass. Interesting ( Read more... )

There might be a lot of "representative" songs you could actually put on a graduation mix CD...If you could be a bit more specific (and would like to share that) I might be of more help :)

When I left Andover I thought I would sing a song for my students as they chose schools and paths in life, and also because I had to choose where to go, myself.

"blast off!" by weezer. hahaha, actually iono, there's a bit of profanity in that one. stupid rivers and his goddamns and references to alcohol.

not sure if it'll fare well on a grad. mix, but you should listen to it anyway if you haven't heard it!

blast off! up to the stars we go ... and leave behind everything i used to know.
