I'm at home for the summer, and it's not quite as easy to hop online and do whatever whenever I feel like it. I definitely got spoiled by having my laptop connected to the net 24/7 at school. But you know what? Even though I updated my LJ more when I ( Read more... )

Your fingers aren't to blame, it's the fact that you were wide awake at 3:23 in the morning. Jeez. :)

And I'm glad that you like reading my entries - I always enjoy reading yours also!

i found when my connections were limited i would just write in an lj client and then save them and post them intermittently when i could. 'cause a few MINUTES on line wasn't nearly as daunting as hours spent posting something, ya know?

You know, I used to do that and it worked quite nicely. But now? It's even a pain to get the LJ client to open. My pc is so awfukl...I just bought an external hard drive though, so now I'm backing up my laptop so I can send it out to get fixed. When the laptop's fixed, I'll definitely be back in business. :)

A dinner party sounds *excellent.* I mean - everyone that knows us knows that we're awful cooks, so who *wouldn't* come to our dinner party just for laughs? Every time I think about what it would turn out like, all I can think of is that scene from Bridget Jones. You know, the part where she ties the food with blue string and the dye comes off and turns the food blue or something? I dunno. Hey, look on the bright side, at least we're both damn good at making coffee. :)

Let me know how everything is going with you and your family. Give me a ring in the next couple of days or something.
