Just found one of these bad boys going for $150.00. I put down $15 to keep it in layaway. I will probably pay it all off on 8/26. I like this sucker cause it can handle the weather a bit more than my Rebel TI. I can't believe what people are trading their film cameras in for to buy inferior digitals for 8 to 10x the price. I joked with the store

Is that the digital SLR or the film version? Have you used the digital Rebel? I am looking at that since I can use it for SCUBA and underwater shots.

It is the film version. I would be no help to you at all on digital cameras. It just is not my medium. I peak in on them now and again, look at the price, shake my head, then go out and shoot.
