It IS worth shelling out to see in theaters, IMO :) There's this great infiltration/fight sequence that I was pretty glad to see with those nice big movie theater speakers blaring the beat in my ears.
Oh man Glee. I don't care if it had a few not great moments (kind of felt terrible for the way Will treated Emma over her OCD). I still enjoyed that episode very much. OMG KURT. asjdfksjdfl love love love for that little gayby. However, I didn't even notice that the IMPORTANT part of Born This Way was left out until you pointed that out. And then the racial slurs were still there. Sheesh :\.
I think I enjoyed this episode a lot more than I have many of the others in recent parts of season 2. Part of it was probably how the bulk of it (besides commercials) was really just the kids getting down and singing their hearts out. (And also being really good--I'm usually pretty unimpressed by Finn's voice but I thought even he sounded pretty great.) Not even any Sue drama to deal with--and I say that in spite of the fact that I love Sue. AND it tackled some of the issues that I think Murphy considers the heart of the show, clumsily or not
