So I've been talking with a few friends and I've spoken about what I want in a mate. Well I decided to write it all down. Here it is.
Requirements:
1) Someone whose walk with God is strong, stable and ever growing. A man of God- after God’s own heart.
2) Someone whose walk with God is ever so slightly ahead of my own. Someone I can submit to and keep my walk with Christ at the same level, I will not compromise for a man. Also someone I can grow with, not too far ahead to leave me behind but at a perfect spot to take my hand.
3) Someone who can lead with love and fear of God. Someone to challenge me in my walk.
4) Someone who is completely in love with me. Someone willing to give up their life for me. And someone that I am in the same place with for this is how two become one and work together for Christ.
5) Someone whose calling matches up with mine, so our towards converge into one walk with Christ.
Desires:
1) Someone who displays true love(1 Cor 13) for me.
2) Someone who will keep me safe/makes me feel safe.
3) Someone who is intellectual and with whom I can have conversations.
4) Someone who loves animals.
5) Someone who loves music as much as I do. Music is an important part of their life.
6) Someone who can fix things when I cannot, who doesn’t’ mind my ‘stupid’ questions/helpless ignorance about certain things and will help me learn to overcome said ignorance
7) Someone to hold me when I am sad and not laugh no matter how small the thing that makes me sad
8) Someone who may want kids but not right now
9) Someone to whom I can be weak and transparent
10) Someone with whom I can share my visions, my excitements, and my words from God
11) Someone who will rebuke me in love, keeping me on the right path with God because they love me.
12) Someone who will be patient with my hurts and fears, helping me to overcome them but understanding it’s not an easy thing to do.
13) Someone who wants to invest the rest of their life to loving me and becoming one with me on this grand adventure God has in store.
