For those following the Aiko/stray kitty story: She went back to the vet yesterday for her follow-up FIV/FeLV test. Unfortunately, she was pregnant, FeLV positive, and had lost half a pound (i.e. already deteriorating from FeLV). We had to put her down. We knew this was a possibility but it is still pretty sad

That is so sad! I feel sorry for Aiko and Gretl both. Poor little girls. :(
