Lest you were all worried, I did not die while eating my chocolate sorbet. But, it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Yesterday was all beautiful and sunny and 65, but today it is grey and will probably rain. I guess there have to be some hiccups as spring gets started.

I made some delicious carrot muffins this morning, and now I just made a batch of dark chocolate sorbet. I think I may die when eating the latter, if the spatula scrapings can be judged.

I just went from 512 MB of RAM in my powerbook to 1.25 GB of RAM. In about 5 minutes flat. If I had known how easy it was, I would've done this years ago! Now to get a new battery...

Does anyone else watch that Martha Stewart cooking show on PBS, Everyday Food? I have a love-hate relationship with the show-- the recipes are reasonably good and easy, but they are just so relentlessly CLEAN and PERFECT and TIDY and MARTHA. After a day of forced feeding (aww poor baby) Gretl is doing much better... she practically dove into the bowl of wet food this morning and seems to have eaten a bit of dry food over night. Poor Gretl. She had to go back to the vet today because after a little breakfast yesterday she started to refuse food (even stinky delicious warmed-up canned food).
