1. I arrived on the 28th day of the 8th month, via an explosion in the third dissection lab. Many of my comrades have found exits, including Kira-fukutaichou, Zaraki-taichou, Rikichi-san, Abarai-fukutaichou, Kuchiki-san, Ichimaru Gin, and possibly more I am unaware of. One Shiba Kaien left and has just recently returned, as well as one Kurosaki Ichigo. Neither remembers their previous stay here.
2. I am concerned with the End, but I have not at this time taken any action towards it, as I have not been ordered to by my superiors.
3. I have not had the pleasure.
4. ... I cannot leave. But my master... he is not here. I am learning many new things, feeling many things, without him. I am freer to do as I will without him here. It makes it pleasant here, despite the curses.
5. If I could, I would find a way for Rangiku to leave, she died here as well. If I could get any of the others out I would do so.
I would love to answer your survey, however I must apologize to you for my previous interactions with your person. I was under the control of the other person inhabiting my body, however that is no excuse. So again, I do apologize. Now on to your survey.
1. I have been in the city for perhaps 2 to 3 months (a) I dimensional hopped into the forest. (b) Yes. (c) No. (d) No.
2. I do not believe the countdown exists. So I am not concerned at all.
3. Regretfully, I have not.
4. Friendship with others makes this place easy to live in. However, ones who kill or commit evil indiscriminately cause me much anger.
5. Yes. I have a pressing job in my own universe that if I don't attend to, a great evil will come forth and destroy every universe that exists.
As you can probably guess by the nature of the day's curse, I have found myself frightfully busy, giving classes, advising Muggles students on how to not harm themselves or others with their wands....however I should like to be of help, and therefore, answer your survey thusly
( ... )
1. a) I saw a window in the air and walked through. b) no. c) no. d) no.
2) Yes, of course!
3. Yes. Maemi. He didn't say much, just that the this world would last after all the others were gone. He said some other stuff, I don't really remember, along the lines of I'd either enjoy it here or be miserable, and it was my choice.
4) Pantalaimon. It's nice to always have someone with you. The worst thing here is the curses that mess with your head.
5) Well, until we take care of the countdown, it would be pretty pointless.

I got this thing... It's called an alethiometer, it's a truth measure, a symbol reader. I can ask it questions, and it can give me answers- though whenever I ask it about the city it gives me answers I can't understand, so I'm not sure how much good it'll do. Still, it might be useful for other stuff.
Thank you, Miss Lyra, that is helful. I myself have only had extended interaction with Mouse...

I see. I am not well versed in the occult, or rather what is refferred to as 'magic' within this place, but I have done my share of work with oddities since coming here. I would be happy to inspect it, for perhaps someone else of my aquaintance would know more about the object in question?

It's not magic, exactly- though it's true that even the man who made it didn't know how it worked. It works off of Dust- it's this special elementary particle that conciousness is made of.
It's from my world- and I've never heard of it on any others. Also, as far as I know I'm the only person in the city with the ability to read it.
So if there's anything you want me to ask it- just tell me.
I don't believe we've met before. I am Dame Marjorie Chardin, but you may call me Maude.
1. How long have you been in the city? Just about a month now, I think. (a) How did you arrive here? I died. I was eighty, seemed like time to get moving onwards. (b) Have you, or anyone you know found exit? Not that I know of. I haven't. (c) Did you, or anyone you know, leave and return? I don't think so. (d) More than once? No.
2. Have you tried to stop the Countdown? Are you concerned at all with The End?
I don't think I'm familiar with what you're talking about.
3. Have you conversed with any of the newer deities? If so, who among them, and what was said?
Never. They don't seem all that sociable.
4. Granted, most loathe and despise this city, but what gives you comfort, or makes the confinement easier to bare? Conversly, what causes more irritation?
I do like all the people I've met here. What a wide variety! Nothing's bothered me too much yet; it's not too bad an afterlife.
5. Do you intend to look for an exit for yourself

I have made extensive studies on the nature and function of this city.
After a great deal of information gathering, and deity input, I and others like me have surmised this city is like a giant clock. The function of which is to count down to The End.
Meaning the end of this world, and all worlds it connects to. Unsettling, to say the least, but there are other deities from other worlds who insist this city is an unnatural construct. That the End of Days is not meant to come about for some time.
With the assistance of a great many citizens I found a way to reset the clock, though it was later corrected by the combined efforts of the deities.
I have not given up hope, however. I do believe I can reset the clock agian if necessary....but I also believe it is not my task alone, and therefore I am doing what I may to find a way to motivate as many citizens as possible.
I do not plan to sit idly by and wait for this city to choose my end for me.
1. I've been in the City for almost two months now. I came here in my sleep, I guess. One minute I was in my bed on my crew's ship, the Going Merry, and the next minute I was in the middle of the fountain. My crewmates say that some of us did arrive, then leave, including myself, but I don't remember it at all.
2. I am concerned with the End, but my captain hasn't said anything about it.
3. No, none of them.
4. I'm with two people I would both live and die for, and I've made many kickass friends. And for once, we don't have to worry about being hunted down by any Marines. On the downside, we have to postpone our quests to fulfill our dreams.
5. I won't leave unless I can bring my two crewmates with me.

Yes, your conditions for re-entry seem to be unique amongst those I have spoken with.
You also seem to be dealing with other temporal paradoxes as well, if you are in need of exit to halt future events.

Thank you for the information. It's...well, I don't really think this is the way the world's meant to end, either.
I think I'll help you out, if you try again with the resetting.

Hmm, two months...
Yes, that was post-reconstruction, I believe.
Interesting.
Thank you, sir.
