tonight i saw these two goth girls sitting at a table next to the philosophy section at the nobler. oh, mall* goths. Decked out in their slipknot gear and chains. so hXc man. I walked by and they were just like all the other teenage girls. There's really no obvious difference. Maybe it was wrong of me to assume that they were supposed to be talking ( Read more... )

fuck on michelle fuck on! hhehehe. maybe they play dress up because they like sterotyping themselves i mean they sterotype others about what they wear and act. i mean they probably wouldn't even talk to you if you didn't wear the dark side of gap shit or listen to slipknot.Which makes what them what they don't like.

you made it sound like i shooped at hot topic and listened to slipknot.

i think the thing is, they're afraid that unless they wear all that shit, and act some way, then they won't have anyone talk to them.

i should stop generalizing.

i mean i could be looking at it the wrong way.
I could be saying that I like that they're 'goth'
and still act like other teenage girls.

however i still look upon theyre playing dress up with much disdain. lame heads.

i need to stop listening to shit punk.
no more Misfits for me.

i've been thinking exactly that about people at auburn lately. i mean, why do you need to always wear black clothes with those abnormally large pants? and it just makes me laugh, the 'uniform' for goth kids is black. it just seems to me that you would get ired of it after a while. i know i did. damn trendy black band t shirts. you know what i'm talking about michelle

one more thing to add:

"in order to show my individuality, i have to dress in this certain way so other individuals like me will accept me"

fuck that

did i mention that as i was leaving i saw this really pretty boy, who was decked out in this red and black chucks, studded wrist band, shaggy hair, get up? I bet he thought he was awesome. But for him, i could tell he was wearing all that shit to impress people. You could just tell.

why am i still ranting?

oh right, because i don't ever have homework.
