stop paper junk mail

This is an issue that plagues me. I hate how much junk mail I get at home in my mailbox. I recycle most of it but I hate it anyway. It's time consuming to shred all those credit card offers!

what i do a lot of the time is send it right back to them. most of the time they include a postage paid envelope, so i put everything right back in there and mail it back w/ a little "this mail is unsolicited(!!)" note. i think i got the 'tip' from an adbusters mag a looong time ago, i forget.
