I feel very, very fortunate to have a place in such a beautiful, dynamic, special heart. I have a deep seated esteem and admiration for you. I think about all your busy-ness and work and accomplishment & am pushed & inspired in my life. You really are a charm and a joy.

Love is a crazy thing. In my more cynical moments ... it's a virus. In others it's a thousand different tender poems. It's bizarre that phenomenon you mention about those on the list who don't make the cut and those who do who would have been B-listers before. I often think of people being drawn together for the things they can teach other that they need learning. Stuff we often don't know until the lessons hit. Maybe that's part of it?

For me there are qualities that speak to my heart. Earnestness is a big one. Sweetness. Reaching, trying, feeling for other beings. Openness. I'm also very attracted to people with skills or qualities I don't have but would like. Or people with qualities I do have that make us feel like kin.

Yay! Lovey Love Goodness. I always feel it deeply at this time of the year too. The spring has sprung energy. Digging out from the winters snow and taking stock of all that is around you, glistening with freshness and dew. When the birds all start to coo to each other, and the antlered animals rub their heads together to help shed the winters antler fuzz.
