HELP ME
I just accidentally read a "spoiler" (speculation) for Book 7 and now I'm freaking out. Someone has got to tell me this is not true. I DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW.
I had been telling myself to stay off the internet completely for the next two months, until I have the book in my own little hands. But like a fucking idiot, I've been reading ONTD every day, which is just asking for it. So I was reading this thread and someone posted a comment that said, simply, Snape dies trying to save Harry. And they posted a website with a page from "the manuscript" which, while clearly not real, has some convincing plot points: Snape dies.
And I'm like, fuck, this Snape thing makes so much sense, I feel like that's probably what happens and now the WHOLE GODDAMN BOOK IS RUINED FOR ME. After all these years, I am still a giant Harry Potter fangirl at heart, and I've been waiting for this thing forever, and all I wanted was to be totally unspoiled.
So someone please tell me that this is a lie and these people don't know what the fuck they're talking about. SOMEONE PLEASE. I am dying here.
