I need someone to illustrate a kid's book for me ... um, that's not strictly correct. It's kid's book-esque, but it's not really for children, unless their parents are particularly weird.

It's been sitting on my desk forever and I just need somebody to draw it up so I can get it out there and sell some. It's a freetime project that might maybe make ( Read more... )

I know a lot of times, with children's books specifically, if you submit it to a publisher, they assign an illustrator to you. Many times the author and illustrator do not meet. So yea...

Yeah but the likelihood ... you'd have to read the script dude. It's not exactly a mass market kind of product.

it's cool. This thing's been hanging around for a while. Artists are flakey, I've had a bunch agree to work on it then not, or want to get paid for it ... which I can understand but y'know. At this point it's a personal thing that I want to do just to do so handing it over to a publisher ... eeeeh, dunno how I feel about that anyway unless the art is something I'm happy with.
