update:

so moms is ok. or pretty stable, at least. apparently the MRIs came back negative for any changes,
so that's ruled out. i suppose it was just some kind of reaction to the antibiotics, but who knows.

anyway, she's coming home tonight, so i'll be around the house to tend to her.
