Its sad but its true. It's almost like being a parent...and your baby is just learning to walk, and you aren't ready for it, and you know it has to be this way. So when they fall, you can scoop them up into your arms and kiss away the tears...well either that or you can tell them to stop cryin and get up. :)

You know...I just now found out what is going on. I can't help but be disappointed but I am more hurt that I didn't know.

So what do you do? You stand there and take it. Because you want to be supportive. But you know you'll be there if it falls apart.

I wish there were Methadone clincs for relationships...

i was never told either, i kind of just figured it out. not like an announcement needs to be made. that would be awkward

True, but it's awkward no matter how you look at it. I was oblivious to it all until I talked to Lauren. And when she told me it all kinda made sense. It was definitely a "Usual Suspects" moment...complete with the "Kobyashi...Kobyashi..."

An announcement didn't need to be made, given how we all probably would have reacted. But maybe a one on one thing? I dunno. I think your song choice says it all. Good call Val, good call.
