December 2015 Report
I hope everyone had a great start to the new year. I've reached my writing goal on December 30th and finished the year with 200268 words total.
Fanfic
I wrote 10830 words in December:
Weird R. John/Rodney. 7826 words total. John is weirded out by Cadman's kiss in Rodney's body. He realizes he's not as straight as he thought and begins a casual thing with Rodney, which turns into something not so casual. (For McSheplets prompt "Season 2")
Post-Flirting NC-17. John/Rodney. 946 words. Established relationship. Whenever someone flirts with Rodney on a mission, John feels the need for rough sex. (For McSheplets prompt "Rough", though it kind of fails at the rough sex part...)
Dog Tags PG-13. John/Rodney. 479 words. (Very recently) established relationship. After they finally got together, Rodney sees John undressed for the first time in a situation that's not bad. (For McSheplets prompt "Dog tags")
May The Schwartz Be With You PG-13. John/Rodney. 393 words. Established relationship. Ronon calls John and Rodney's banter foreplay... (For McSheplets prompt "foreplay")
Boss (working title) PG. John/Rodney. 5070 words in December. Contemporary AU. John is flight instructor and offers private flights. Rodney is recently divorced with a daughter who loves flying. (For McSheplets prompt "Boss")
Christmas Morning G. John/Rodney. 494 words. Established Relationship. Fluff about John's thoughts on his first Christmas morning with Rodney. @AO3 @LJ
On the AO3 posting front, I'm still at December 2008. I'm at 330 works now, which means I've added two stories since the last report. In addition to the one mentioned above, I posted Bar Acquaintance.
I've signed up for 150k for the year. I really don't want to fall behind this year, and ideally I'd write every day even if I'm ahead. Even "any word count is okay" days add to the total and more often than not it goes significantly over the goal, which would be 298 words each (non-November) day, and is already down to 295 ;)
I also have generated quite a backlog of fic, so it should be possible for me to post a new fic every week. We'll see how that works out.
