When I saw the pic, I had this idea of Joe and David's chaotic wedding day. The proposal was something like this and I was going to put it in a flashback, but yesterday when I was looking for a fourth fic to write I thought I could just do another little ficlet with the proposal, but then it turned out almost 1000 words, so I went for it :)

I write mostly about the angsty part of their "courtship", but when I saw the wedding rings pic, I wanted it to be Joe/David and I tried to show the lighter side now that they're together (even though there still is an undercurrent of their history).
