My fiance's been pretty much wetting himself over the Blu-ray version of TOS so those are now happily Netflixing their way through our house. It's actually rather astounding what an improvement they are -- when the focus, color, and contrast are corrected, along with the audio recording, you start not even noticing some of the writing anymore.

Saw the ad for Star Trek Season One on the blu-ray set of CSI. BEAUTIUFUL...plus you can play the episodes with the new special effects or the original. AND there are the 'home movies' that were clips of the crew behind the scenes. I'm buying!

trust me, tos does not fail to continue delivering the awesome and hilarious. some episodes are just so crazy that you have to love them. really.
and hey, i liked shatner as kirk. in the series. in some of the later movies...not so much.
