REMINDER: The last three Pushing Daisies episodes start airing on ABC tonight. I've already watched them a few times, but I'll watch them live regardless. It's my little, and yes, inconsequential show of support for something I truly love. Considering the complete lack of promotion and the graveyard plot timeslot, the ratings will probably be about ( Read more... )

I watched the NCIS episodes the new cast was on (since I watch NCIS) and she didn't strike me as any more boring then the rest of the new cast. Though, I suppose for a series lead you really need someone more exciting

Yeah, I'm with you on her not being any more boring than the rest of them, plus they built up the whole past with Gibbs thing - though I guess it got explained. I wonder whether they'll recast the character or just scrap it.

I started to like Sofia too. But mostly because the Sara/Sofia femslash fic fueled my interest.

i was pretty indifferent to sofia, but in general i just hope they dont try and turn ncis into a franchise like csi - its appeal, at least to me, has always been how DIFFERENT it is from csi; as they say themselves in the first episode. plus thats a REALLY hard team dynamic to recreate. then again, ncis started as a spinoff of jag, and i thought i would hate it, so...who knows.

I think NCIS is probably far enough along in its run that even a lesser spin-off won't really damage the original. (Unlike CSI, where the producers really didn't appreciate that the audience was largely tuning in for the characters, and watered down the brand by spreading the entire production staff thin with several spin-offs early on.) Hopefully for the fans, anyway.
