I watched NY up until about half way into S5 (last season). Then one of the CSIs got pregnant, and then one of the recurring detectives on the show, who had been in 23+ episodes, got killed off due to budget cuts. NOW, they bring this chick in as a series regular.

The show is shit now, and the stories suck. The casting is horrible compared to how it was in season one. The original CSI is so fortunate compared to NY and Miami.

I completely agree...I want to be happy about this, but if the reason for her coming back is that something is wrong with GSR, I will be so pissed. I'm sick of the fuckery too. I loved the ending we got for them and anything additional better be damn good.
Honestly my first thought when I read this was dammit, now I need to start watching CSI again...

I guess that means I have to revisit CSI too if Sara's gonna be back. I'll take Jorja anyway I can have her...but without that hair.
