There was a guy from the southern baptist church talking in the middle of campus today. He was pretty respectful and polite. I stayed around for about an hour listening to him talk to kids about their problems with religion. He was a pretty smart guy, and inviting enough that I even asked a few questions. I am surprised... hmmm, I figure that the day "I can walk on water" is the day I can judge others. It's sad to have nothing to believe in and I have yet to meet the perfect person (myself by far included). No one person shows their true colors all of the time because no one wants anyone to know "who" they really are. I agree that everyone is pretentious. It's not people that I believe in because we all fail (once again, no exclusion of myself) but we have to believe in something or our (my) failures would take me to the end of this life. It seems we all hurt the people that we are the closest to and, why?? A question I can't answer... they should be the last! I am very thankful for all of the people who have come into my life whether they have had a negative effect or because they have given me a reason to think ( ... )
