excellent for spreading the word! and fortionatly, it's not like women can never go swimming again during their periods because there are actually easy healthy safe alternative tampons/tampon-makers that cost approximatly the same and look, feel, and do the exact same thing. my fave brand is "natracare," they make their tampons 100% cotton, certified organic, and non-chlroine bleached (the fact that they're from organic cotton ALSO cuts out pesticide residual, as well as the whole non-chlorinated bleach thing--chlorine bleach = dioxin pollution, and also normal tampons have trace but still present amounts of rayon in them as well). it can be a bit hard to find the alternatives though, sometimes you have to check out different drug stores (like elephant pharmacies, I know there's one here in Berkeley but I'm not sure LA...probably though) or maybe try online. But yeah, it's definitely worth it. Tampon makers bleach them white because the American public associates the color white with cleaness, but in reality MOST things that are
