Even my laid back husband got a bit of the "food nazi" bug when I was pregnant. Er… I know how to eat, love, you don't have to manage my diet for me. I imagine Roy would be much worse about this.
Title: THE SECOND INDIGNITY
Archive: Main
Summary: Roy gets involved with Riza's diet.
Chronology: No idea
Warnings: None. Rated G.
Riza had been feeding herself since she was three. She'd been feeding everyone else in the house since they'd first moved in together. Except for certain rather sticky adventures in lovemaking, this had been the rule - SHE was in charge of not only her fork, but what was on it as well.
And now Roy wanted to upset this natural order. Commanding officer or no, she wasn't going to stand for it. "I'm FULL, " she said, and ducked out of the way of the offending tines.
"You've lost eight pounds," said Roy. "That can't be healthy. You are supposed to gain weight during pregnancy."
"It's absolutely normal to lose a few pounds in your first months," said Riza. "I can show you the books."
"Eight pounds is too much. Open up, love. It's chicken, and it's good."
Of course it was good, she'd cooked it herself, but that didn't mean she had to eat it. In fact she was pretty sure that all the effort she put into the meal EARNED her the right to refuse. But Roy was holding her shoulder still and pressing the moist morsel against her lips. If she opened her mouth to say anything, she had no doubt he'd push that thing in.
She was not in the mood for this.
She looked around the dining room table, begging with her eyes for one of her other lovers to come to her rescue. Ed was oblivious, far too into eating his own meal to be concerned about hers. Masuta seemed to be behind his "brother" in this endeavor. That left Al.
Al couldn't possibly resist her eyes.
Sure enough Al spoke up. "Oh, don't force her. That's not nice."
Yes, Riza thought, Thank you.
"She'll just throw up all over you."
Riza closed her eyes and tried to remind herself why being pregnant was a good thing.
