... but good on ya for taking her to the ER.

I only hope this is the worst thing that ever
happens to her!

Give her kissies from us.

Actually, we didn't go to the ER. I sat on the floor of the office watching her to make sure she seemed okay for about 15 minutes before taking her home, because the ER is right next to the daycare. The pediatrician told me what to look for, which was the same thing the daycare was looking for (which gives me more faith in them, they are great!), and of course logically as a healthcare person I know what to do...as you know, it's different when it's your baby, though! :)

She really is fine, just a bump and a headache after all. She didn't sleep well last night, but I think she kept waking herself up by rolling over on the bump (she also has a runny nose that has nothing to do with it).

Don't you hate those school phone calls to let you know your child was in an accident? Nothing to set your heart racing like worrying about what happened! The worst we've had so far has been Dove getting her finger stuck in a drainage hole in the slide - the gym teacher managed to extricate her as her teacher was calling 911! - so I count myself lucky. Glad Moonchild is okay - tumbles happen and most of the time, babies (and toddlers) bounce right back! By this time, I bet she's back to being herself and playing like nothing happened. (((hugs)))

She was a bit traumatized when I took her in this morning, but hopefully that didn't last long. :)

I know, they always start the phone call with "This is ___ from ___. V is okay..." and then get to the situation (never anything serious before). However, since the phone call my mom got about my dad (many years ago) when he collapsed (cardiac arrest!) was a similar phone call, I'm always skeptical and scared when someone starts a conversation with "__ is okay."
