in case you don't hear from me, I'm being hospitalized

You know I'll call and harass you. You'll get voicemails saying "get up, you pussy! When I was your age, we didn't even have backs! We hadn't evolved that far yet! And it didn't stop me from doing a full day's work! None of this musician crap. Damn kids with your music."

I'd take a bullet for you, so I gotta give you some shit. In all seriousness though, I wish you the best and I'll send some good vibes your way in addition to annoying voice mails.

hey man, send all the voicemails you want...your support means more to me then anything man...this is some freaky shit for me. I don't like any results the contain "40% or great chance of permenant damage including imobility of the lower extremities"

Wow, best of luck with that. My brother-in-law had back surgery a couple of years ago and has had nothing but problems ever since. I think he needs to go back again and see what's happened since, but he doesn't have insurance(or a job) so that's just not possible.
Hope they figure it out and get you all fixed up.

yeah I had it once and was fine for 5 years and now it's happening all over again...only this time the % chance of being paralyzed goes up 20 %

Yikes, wow. In my brother-in-law's case, a lot of it was his own stupidity, not to mention that he should have tried other treatments before jumping right into surgery(the dr. I talked to about his case said surgery should have been a last resort, but that my BIL didn't want to try anything else first).
Anyway. He's got a really heavy upper body cause he goes to the gym and lifts weights, BUT, he does absolutely NO lower body workout. No running, no elliptical, no weights on his legs, nothing. So his upper body is very heavy, and his lower body can't support it, thus, back issues.
So he was supposed to work on evening things out. But has he? No. So we just all have to constantly deal with his whining and complaining and "oh, I can't do this," blah blah blah. We'd all be more sympathetic if he was trying to make things better, but, he's not.
Hope things go well for you.
