Beautiful, no matter the gender...

There needs to be more acceptance and tolerance in our hearts....

A video made in Australia that I would love to see here in America.  Alas, our country is divided by those who have open arms, those who are stubbornly set in their ways, and oafish aftshafts who can't tell their heads from their asses.

Anywho, enjoy the loveliness of this video.

I love this video! We watched it in our LGBTQA (I think I'm missing a few letters...) club the other day. I am a little bit p.o.ed at the "oafish aftshafts who can't tell their heads from their asses" (well said, by the way). It cheers me up a bit that I live in San Francisco, so there is no gay bashing here.

Well, yes, here in Cali we do tend to have more tolerance and I live in Merced so there isn't much here either, but I have been places we're I'm just like WTF, they're people too!!

It makes me sad that humanity more than half the time can't accept things just because they're DIFFERENT and not US so to speak.

My best-friend-turned-sister is bi and I don't think any different of her even though I'm straight. I love her to death and always will. Why? Because of who she is, understanding, loving, fiery, protective and very very loyal. And not because she swings both ways.

Exactly! My cousin Mary was fired from her job because she used to be Mark. I was told by one of my friends (who I no longer talk to) that I should cease all communication with my cousin because my cousin "violated God's plan" or some such nonsense. People can be so ridiculous. /rant (sorry about that)

See, I'm religious too.

But I am also aware that God loves ALL his children. And it SPECIFICALLY states MANY times in MANY forms of the bible -

'Judge not thy brethren lest thou shalt be judged theyself.'

It's not our place to judge them. It really isn't. Just because they like the same sex doesn't make them any less people. they feel, they love, they hope they dream... It's as simple as that.

I agree with what you were telling birdiebot: that some people hide behind religion but at the same time they don't really get their won religion T.T I mean really, we're all people and just because some may like someone from the same sex doesn't mean they're are bad or that they're going to go to hell like some extremists say, ... I ramble XD

No, that's fine. I'm just glad that there are those like you, birdie and others that know this is wrong and are looking for the good ^^ It makes me feel better about humanity.
