I don't know the fandom, but I'm finding this really interesting! Thanks for posting. :D

I'm glad you like this without knowing the fandom (or more accurately being steeped in the fanon meme that came out of that canon). It's a really fun universe to work in and I'm glad I can make others enjoy it.

I still think it's hysterical that John is the Phantom of the Hospital.

I love that you've made John clever, as an astounding number of fics fail to realize that John does have a brain, and is actually a very good man to have in a tough situation. He . He's not just Sherlock's DID.

Oh yes, John's clever, but he's not genius level clever (and he doesn't have much pretensions). Up to now he's been up against ordinary Sentinels who've all been taught the same tricks and Mycroft who has been too distant and lazy to have much of a direct hand. Sherlock's going to be a wee bit tougher to fool.

I actually went and read what you had on the kink meme - but I'm re-reading to see what's different. No hardship there! This is a really interesting verse!

It's easier to read on a journal, I know. Damn that 4300 character limit! Can't even get a good scene in that amount of time. And the complicated nesting... totally breaks the flow.

Haha, very clever, John! Keep those Sentinels chasing after their own tails.

I like that in your Sentinel/Guide world there is an extreme lack of Guides as it makes John that much more valuable. Very interesting twist. I am very curious now to see the meeting of Sherlock and John.

There's a reason for the extreme lack of guides that I get into next chapter (or maybe chapter after next). Life didn't used to be so harsh for Guides although they were never exactly treated great.
