Oh Christ, damn you and your cliffhangers...

This was stunning. Great flow, great pacing, great work on building tension. Of course the spectre of rape has been there through the whole scene with Sebastian, but you don't really feel it sink home until Hope and Moran are like "ok, let's tie him up and get to raping." Ugh.

I'm just hoping that Sherlock is able to interfere before that happens. I think/hope/trust that Sherlock will be clever enough to outsmart Hope- especially if John is helping.

Right? Right? Up until this point, I was actually feeling it for Hope. He seemed truely concerned for John's well being and the well being for other Guides. But the whole, "Tie 'em, rape 'em, but don't worry, you'll eventually like it" attitude really gets you in the stomach and Hope lost all general like I had for him. He is a much scarier badguy than Seb.

I never liked Hope. He's just slimey, it rolls off him. I'm still half-convinced he fucked up his own Sentinel.
