I'm a sporadic updater, I'm afraid. How much writing I get done is dictated a lot by RL circumstances.

Thank you, I really meant it to be more a psychological thriller than a morality story.

Unfortunately, the people at this party are far more interested in seeing John suffer than be coddled. He stands for their economic and social destruction after all. Luckily John's tough. A dry throat isn't going to kill him.

It def. is a thriller but it's nice that it has so many layers. I don't think it's a morality story.

I guess I projected some things onto it because I had just come from an adoption event with my foster dog, and also I was very thirsty, lol.

I should have mentioned that it's also wry and clever and extremely hot. :)
