(Taping of a wineglass filled with blood)
Usually the bride doesn’t give a toast, but since this is the 10th time we have renewed our vows, and I usually let Alex speak, I decided this time it was my time to give the toast.
(Sophie smiles to everyone, Alex smiles up at her)
As a child, I always believed in true love, and love at first sight. One night when I was walking home from after a violin lesson, I was happy to find that these things were true. It was the night I met my beautiful immortal beloved, my sweet Alexander.
Look, how he blushes slightly. It is adorable. (She stroked his arm lovingly) I have been so lucky to spend the last 400 years with this wonderful man.
But back to my story…(a brief laugh)
The air had a sweet flowery scent, and the stars twinkled down on the cobblestones like little diamonds.
The wind was a bit chilly, and I had just pulled my coat a little tighter with the hand not carrying my case, when I looked up and saw the most gorgeous eyes I had ever seen. They belong to the most beautiful soul ever, though I didn’t know that, but I could sense it since he had a beautiful angelic caring aura around him.
Having just turned 18, I felt a little nervous approaching him. I knew in an instant that it was the well-famous Alexander Lucard, and he’d probably have nothing to do with me. I was just tempted to drop my eyes, and walk away.
I found I couldn’t move, I was frozen to the spot, my eyes transfixed on his beautiful face. It was a good thing, because a second later, he came to talk to me. And we have been inseparable ever since. (They exchange a look)
And we appreciate you all coming to celebrate our love us. (She holds up her glass of blood again)
Cheers to many more centuries to come. (They exchange a passionate kiss and the crowd applauds)
