1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
I grew a penis on my head and used it to forecast the weather!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions, but I did have some hopes and dreams for 2011: Susperia to win Eurovision (no), seeing Raunchy again (yes), Beluga spotting (yes), and something about keeping my livejournal updated or whatever idk.
For 2012 I hope to attend Farnborough Airshow, maybe make a little trip to Madrid, find all my courses achievable yet compelling (lol), go to a country I've never been to before, improve my running, become a firefly for a day and make some really good playlists to put on my mp3 player. We'll see if any of that happens.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Latvia, and somewhere called "Mallaig".
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
The Olympics to drive me insane? Lol no but seriously.
A new Raunchy album.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
My memory is too soft and spongy to allow etching. I think December 25th was Christmas though.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Apart from growing a penis on my head? I can't think of anything.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Keeping the penis I grew on my head clean :/ It was new, I didn't know I had to wash under there.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well, I have a weak right ankle. And I had a really bad cold. So mostly okay.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My bendy ruler! It's a ruler... but it bends! You can draw curves for the first time in your life!
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Cattle Decapitation, for all the charity gigs they do. Let me know when your favourites are doing that.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
People who seem to take some strange kind of pride in animal cruelty. They exist, and there's more of them than you think.
14. Where did most of your money go?
easyJet, Ryanair, Tesco's petrol station, cheap crappy hotels, gig tickets, the economy of Norway.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to Heathrow. Flying with BMI. Seeing Raunchy. The airflow around a wing.
16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
Anything by Gods Tower!!
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier, but also more stressed.

iii. richer or poorer? D:
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Flying on the big jets.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Watching Bestial Raids. Twice in one lifetime is too much, let alone in one year.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent a large chunk of the day on planefinder.net.
22. Did you fall in love in 2011?
With a small plane called "F-GSTA"!
23. How many one-night stands?
You can't have one-night stands with planes, they have a maximum turnaround time of 40 minutes.
24. What scared you the most?
There was this one time, when we were on a A319, and we'd taken off from Gothenburg about 15 minutes ago. I was seated in 23F and I was waiting for the vodka trolley to come round. Anyway, suddenly, we banked sharply to the right, must have been about 60 degrees, and we lost several thousand feet in seconds. Everyone was crying and shaking, apart from me, and I shouted "DON'T PANIC I HAVE THIS UNDER CONTROL" and everyone cheered and clapped. Anyway, before I leapt into action the pilots managed to level the wing, and I looked out of the window to see an SAS MD-80 cross us at a maximum of 1000 feet above. Obviously, with my help, the pilots had performed a dangerous but necessary evasive manoeuvre which no doubt prevented us from becoming an episode of Air Crash Investigation.
25. What was your favourite TV program?
Air Crash Investigation.
26. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I have less patience for some people, but that's probably just a result of being older and less keen to impress. I don't hate them though. Not much.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
DECAPITATED BEING GOOD!
28. What did you want and get?
Many trips to the airport! A headline set from Raunchy! VEGAN COOKIES!!!
29. What was your favourite film of this year?
I didn't see many films this year :(
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I rode the Horses of Arcadia and drank their sweet milk while frolicking in the shade of the willow trees. I was 29 if you must know.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Well, the complete dissolution of the empires of my enemies, obviously.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
The same as always but with more leopard print, which I have introduced entirely for the lols.
33. What kept you sane?
Pacing the floor furiously, talking to myself, self-medicating with alcohol and smack. Just the usual.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Britney Spears <3
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I try to stay detached these days to be honest, because I don't particularly want to be stirred in that way. Maybe something to do with battery hens.
37. Who did you miss?
No one really.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
1. Catie
2. Kasper from Raunchy
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011:
In Latvia, alcohol drinks you.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"But where's god? He's 404!"
I am going to do a proper catch-up post. With all the exciting things that happened in the latter months of 2011. Actually there were none but I will do a catch-up post anyway. Maybe tomorrow, tired now, going to make a nest and go to sleep.
