Mmmmm. Nice to see you posting again. I was concerned about you. Not sure why, but maybe the vibes lately everywhere lately. Anyway, Victoria! I've lived there. Very sleepy too. You really have to push yourself to do anything. The culture is so laid back.
I am SO not unpacked. But since I am making crappy practice at that I worked on a mosaic hurricane and a necklace of gemstones yesterday. I put up pictures on my lj if you are interested.
I'm writing Spike in drag right now. I have NO idea why it made me think of you. LMAO. Probably that art you did. It's not your OTP, so I expect you won't read it, but I did smile when I started the scene.
The University town where I currently live is also kind of laid-back, but I'd love the pretty backdrop of the Gulf to go along with that. And the milder winters? That would be a definite plus.
I saw your pics! Intrigued by the mosaic: so you glue the pieces on? What do you use to grout them? I'd love to do that. Actually next year when we begin to garden, I'd like to make some mosaic stepping stones for a pathway.
True, true... such a Spander girl I am that I am rarely tempted to read any other pairings. But yeah, Spike in drag- very much of the hotness- and that little pic I made for Shrew is actually one of my all-time faves.
Mmmmm. Well, your art had an influence in my putting him in drag in a spangel, alas. ;)
This is where I get my supplies for mosaic: Italian Glass from San FranciscoI love the glass from there. So, the first thing is to have beautiful tiles. Otherwise, why waste your time? Michaels carries some of these made up packages from that company. They are from Italy and shot with gold, silver or copper
