Smart buying

What I did not purchase this weekend:
A spiffy, nearly new $17,000 blue Volvo Cross Country wagon
$300 in bathroom fixtures

What I did purchase this weekend:
$6.99 roll of faux brushed metal shelf paper

Who says I'm not careful with money?

Actually I would go so far as to say you are GOOD with money. Which includes care, but supersedes it, you see.

On the whole, though, I'd rather have the Volvo. But nobody's ever called me careful with money...

Yes- a new car would be swell- it's the $300+ car payments that keep holding us back. This one was from the same place in Winter Park that our other (nicer) one came from so we know it was pampered.

On the other hand- the ugly brown shelves in my work room are now a gleaming brushed siver!
