Anyone willing to... Can you go to http://www.kluv.com/pages/897782.php and vote for Wildflower Place?  A friend of a friend's mom lives there... it's a retirement community and they need that van. (If you could pass the URL around, I'm sure they'd appreciate it.)

The group that is winning is a Christian Youth group that only needs the van for twice

WTF? They need the van for twice a year? That's stupid. Why the hell can't they get someone to donate a van for that? Ugh. People get on my damn nerves.

On the other hand, I dunno that the retirement community is the one that I'd pick on my own, but they are second in line, and way more deserving than some kids going to camp. The others seem like they'd be pretty darn worthy, but I don't want to toss my vote away.

Are you going to post this to the DFW communities?

No.. I'm not in that group, but you can x-post it if you want. :-)

The way I see it, there's no way those other orgs can win at this point, and I can't give my support to people who need a van for camp vs. people who ACTUALLY need a daily vehicle... So... I'm going to keep voting daily for the retirement community.
