Sheep in the desert.

So yesterday I actually left the confines of Tehachapi and went to Lancaster. Lancaster, for those of you who don't know, is in the very northern part of LA County. It's a fairly large city, and it has a Costco. I go to Costco to get my asthma inhalers because they're really cheap there. I love being in the desert although I've mostly managed to do so in the Phoenix area. As for sheep, if you're used to living where there are no sheep, then sheep are fun. When I was a kid, I spent two years living and working on, what I later found to be, the largest sheep farm in the region I was in. It was a time of some of the fondest memories in my life (and some of the hardest times as well).

They were so cute. My cousin had a sheep once, and while it was adorable, it stunk so bad...but then she was terrible about keeping its pen clean. Being from a sheep farming region, I'll bet you got some delicious lamb, eh?

lol! Vegetarian friendly (vegetarian wannabe?), but not vegetarian...

We grew our own produce as well... so we had some mighty fine eating while I was there :).
