Had an awesome weekend! Took Matt out for a date, hehe, one of my Christmas gifts to him was a date with dinner/film both of his choice on me :) We went out for seafood and then headed to the cinema to see Valkyrie. Woohoo! I've been approved for vacation in March - now to decide, Hawaii or England. If I go to England I can see Matt's family with him, and I haven't been there for a couple of years now. If I go to Hawaii I can spend time with my sister, and she'll be moving away from there later this year or next year, so it's my last chance to go visit there ( Read more... )

Should be in California early morning Saturday the 17th, staying for the evening of that night plus Sunday night, then heading out midday on Monday the 19th back in time to go to bed for work and have work and school on Tuesday the 20th! Looking into motels now!

Last night was pretty fun. Matt and I rented a motel room in Boise (he had to be at work at 7:30am, so we figured by renting a room we could a)avoid driving back home late at night with possible drunk drivers on the road and b)he could sleep in since we'd be up so late!), and went out to a masquerade at the Crystal Ballroom over by 8th and Bannock ( Read more... )

Woohooo, had to drive myself in today due to getting off at noon, and I was in luck! The roads were all dry and quiet so I actually got here quite a bit earlier than planned. Brought my new book with me to read just in case of that happening though - "The Daily Coyote ( Read more... )
